Our story
A weekly foursome shouldn't take forty texts to book.
I'm Johnny Mobley. I started building systems for other people in 2000, when I was 16, and I've been doing it ever since. Along the way I automated most of my own work, and the tools I built for myself became these companies. Each one runs on rules I wrote down, not on paid AI calls, which is why it can cost so little.
A regular group trying to agree on next week's tee time usually ends up in a long group text where nobody can tell what was decided. I built GolfDad to do one thing: everyone votes on the times, and the page shows the time that's winning.
There is no account. The group shares a code, anyone with it can propose times and vote, and voting again under the same name changes your vote instead of counting twice. It doesn't book the course for you.
What works today
- Shows a group's current tee-time poll and the leading time to anyone with the group code
- Players vote on proposed times; voting again with the same name updates your choice
- Starting a poll can send one confirmation email to the address you give
What it doesn't do yet
Doodle still does things GolfDad doesn't:
- Booking pages and calendar sync with Google or Outlook.
- Recurring reminders, texts or push notifications.
- Booking the tee time at the course.
- Polls for anything other than one group's next round.
What it costs
| What you get | Price | |
